CECC May Madness returned to Arlington for its 5th year of competition from May 2-4 2025. Teams from all over the US and Canada gathered to compete for the Collegiate Esports Commissioners Cup championships in Rocket League, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, Overwatch 2, and Valorant. Two new competitions were added this year – Street Fighter 6 and Microsoft Excel Esports. Playfly concluded their championships at CECC, as well as the Unified Pro Am collegiate National Four Championships.
Media day is the start of the long weekend for these teams, but it wraps up with the presentation of the CECC jerseys to each team member. Day 1 saw lots of qualifying gameplay, as well as the first appearance of Street Fighter 6 on the main stage.
All jersey pictures have the teams and games in the captions. Some teams are not represented due to being absent for Media Day. Sorry Street Fighter players, you all moved way too fast.
