This website will always be dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who may not feel they have a voice. Throughout my masters program, I tried to highlight parts of the gaming and esports industry that are normally a minority – women and marginalized genders in esports, parental involvement, lesser known or watched games/gaming events, and youth gaming.
As someone who spent their life as the outcast, I understand how it feels when I’m ignored or made to feel less than important.
Over the past few months, I’ve sat and watched as families have been torn apart because of the decisions of a few. As an empath, it breaks my heart to watch innocent people being shipped off to places unknown while their families fight for their return.
It made me realize that even though I may not be a news journalist per say, I still have an opportunity as a freelancer to use the first right that all of us are granted from the day that we’re either born or enter this country – the freedom of speech.
I attended the No Kings protest in Dallas on June 14, 2025. I wanted to document the people who want to fight for the rights of everyone in this country. It would have been hypocritical of me not to attend but still fight for the marginalized in the gaming industry.
My political or ideological beliefs are not here to debate. All I want to do is show that, despite what others say, these protests have been a peaceful gathering of likeminded people – people who want to see the constitution upheld, the way our forefathers wrote it.
